National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) plans to invest AU$2.8 million in two branches in Sydney, New South Wales, according to a Friday statement.
The lender will invest AU$1.3 million in a new full-service branch at Broadway Shopping Centre as well as a further AU$1.5 million in refurbishing its Haymarket branch.
The Broadway branch will open in November, while the Haymarket branch will temporarily close on Oct. 9 for refurbishment and is expected to reopen in December.
The bank's Oxford Square and Newtown branches will be closed, and customers and team members from these branches will be moved to Broadway and other nearby branches.
