Bajaj Auto's (NSE:BAJAJ-AUTO, BOM:532977) total sales rose 40% to 513,792 units in April from 365,810 units sold a year ago, according to a Monday filing with the Indian bourses.Domestic sales in April rose 13% year on year to 248,210 units, while exports jumped 83% to 265,582 units.The company's two-wheeler sales in April grew 38% year-over-year to 439,953 units, while commercial vehicle sales grew 54% to 73,839 units.The automobile manufacturer's shares were up 3% in recent trade.
