Nan Ya Plastics (TWI:1303) reported a 31% year-over-year jump in May non-audited consolidated operating revenue to NT$28.8 billion, according to a Taiwan bourse filing on Monday.
The figure was also. up 4.2% from April, marking a 47-month high.
The producer of plastic products attributed the growth to strong ethylene glycol performance and increased AI-related demand, driving electronic material revenues higher.
In contrast, polyester and plastic processing products saw monthly declines due to weak consumer confidence and cautious procurement.
Overall, revenue expansion was also supported by rising crude oil and raw material costs across most product lines.
