Myson Century, Great Computer Tender Offer for Tien Liang Expires After Surpassing Threshold

Myson Century (TWO:5314) and Great Computer's joint tender offer for shares of Tien Liang BioTech expired on Wednesday, after the number of shares tendered exceeded the required threshold, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The offer, which ran from May 15 to June 3, received tenders for 17.3 million shares, of which 17.3 million shares will be acquired at NT$32.7 per share.

Payments to participating shareholders are scheduled to be completed by June 10, it said.

Zhida Technology to Partner With Breton Technology on Overseas Expansion

Shanghai Zhida Technology Development (HKG:2650) is partnering with Breton Technology (HKG:1333) to sell each other's products and services in overseas markets, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.Under the letter of intent, Breton Technology plans to acquire at least 5,000 units of high-power charger or charging robot equipment from the company in exchange for at least 500 units of its electric mining trucks.The parties also plan to establish an overseas shared service and after-sales center.Zhida Technology shares gained nearly 1% in late morning trade Thursday, while Breton fell 6%.

Samudera Shipping Line to Dispose of Chemical Tankers for $23 Million

Samudera Shipping Line (SGX:S56) will dispose of two Singapore-flagged chemical tankers, MT Sinar Malahayati and MT Sinar Mendawai, to a third-party buyer for nearly $23 million, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Sinar Malahayati has a 12,105 gross tonnage, while Sinar Mendawai has a 11,950 gross tonnage.Proceeds raised from the disposal will be used for loan repayment, general working capital and for fleet renewal and other investment opportunities.Additionally, since both vessels are employed on existing time charters, a charter party novation agreement is also expected to be signed between the buyer, seller and the charterer before or upon delivery.
