Murata Manufacturing Logs Flat Profit in Fiscal 2025

Murata Manufacturing's (TYO:6981) profit attributable to owners of the parent was largely flat at 233.9 billion yen for fiscal 2025, compared with 233.8 billion yen a year earlier.

The electronic capacitor maker's basic earnings per share increased to 127.66 yen from 125.08 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.

Revenue gained 5% to 1.831 trillion yen for the full year ended March 31 from 1.743 trillion yen in the prior year.

In a separate disclosure, Murata Manufacturing raised its final dividend payment to 35 yen per share, from 30 yen initially forecast, payable from June 30.

For the fiscal year 2026, the company expects attributable profit of 293 billion yen, basic EPS of 160.96 yen, and revenue of 1.960 trillion yen.

Murata Manufacturing plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 35 yen per share, each, for the year, which is higher than the amount paid a year ago.
