Mount Ridley Mines Records Almost 92% Scandium Recovery in Latest Test Work Round; Shares Up 7%

Mount Ridley Mines (ASX:MRD) recorded nearly 92% scandium recovery and up to 86% heavy rare earth recovery in the latest round of its Selectro Process metallurgical test work program, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Selectro Test 3 achieved the recoveries using half the reagent dose applied in the previous two tests while testing the same Grass Patch composite in its raw state and without process optimization, the filing said.

Selectro Test 2 recorded 80% scandium recovery and up to 83% heavy rare earth recovery, with the results disclosed in August, per the filing.

Shares rose 7% in afternoon trade Thursday.
