Mori Hills REIT Investment (TYO:3234) secured 7.6 billion yen in green loans for redemption of its existing unsecured bonds due Aug. 28 and long-term loans maturing Aug. 31, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
The borrowings comprise 3 billion yen from Resona Bank, 1 billion uen from Chiba Bank and 3.6 billion yen from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. and carry interest rates ranging from base rate plus 0.150% to 0.300% with maturities extending to 2035.
The green loans, with drawdowns scheduled for Aug. 27 and 31, will refinance borrowings tied to the acquisition of Toranomon Hills Mori Tower, aligning with the REITS's green finance framework.
