Moody's Analytics Starts Platform Push Under New Leadership, RBC Says

By

Moody's (MCO) analytics segment is focused on shifting from a complex product array toward a unified platform and solutions model, RBC Capital Markets said Thursday in a report.

Christina Kosmowski, the newly appointed CEO of the segment, is prioritizing a simplified product portfolio, building a common platform layer, deeper use of AI, and an eventual shift toward delivering measurable customer outcomes, the report said.

The strategy aims to make Moody's intelligence easier for customers to consume, whether through the company's own applications or through AI environments such as Claude, Microsoft 365, AWS, and OpenAI, RBC said.

Internally, Moody's is using AI coding tools to improve engineering efficiency, the report said.

RBC has an outperform rating on Moody's stock with a $610 price target.
