Montage Technology's Korean Unit Faces Competition Law Probe

Montage Technology (HKG:6809, SHA:688008) said South Korean prosecutors conducted a search of its local unit as part of an investigation into a potential competition law violation, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Thursday.

The company said it has fully cooperated with the investigation. It added that neither the group nor any of its directors or employees has been charged with wrongdoing, and its operations remain unaffected.

Montage said it is too early to determine the outcome of the investigation or whether it will have a material impact on the group.

The company generated revenue of 5.5 billion yuan in 2025, including 2.9 billion yuan from South Korea, the filing showed.

Unisplendour to Dilute Stake in Computer Unit to 29.4%; Shares Up 9%

Semiconductor company Unisplendour (SHE:000938) said it will dilute its stake in subsidiary Unisplendour Computer Technology amid a 440-million-yuan capital increase.Unisplendour will waive its pre-emptive subscription rights, reducing its stake to 29.42% from 51%, with the subsidiary exiting consolidation, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.One of the five investors of the capital increase, Haichen Huicai, will acquire a 12% stake in Unisplendour Computer Technology from five existing shareholders before the implementation of the capital increase.Shares of Unisplendour jumped 9% in recent trade.
