MOG Digitech Holdings (HKG:1942) expects to report a net loss attributable to shareholders for the first half of 2026, compared with a net profit of 1.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The fintech company attributed the forecast to lower revenue and gross profit, citing intense competition in its digital payment solutions business, reduced funding for its financing services business, and lower purchase rebates in its optical retail segment.
The company is expected to release its interim results by the end of August.
Shares of MOG Digitech jumped nearly 26% in recent trade.
