Mobius Renewables Acquires Air Liquide's Biogass Assets Across US, France, Norway and Sweden

-- Mobius Renewables said on Monday it has closed the acquisition of biogas production assets from Air Liquide across the US, France, Norway and Sweden, expanding its renewable natural gas footprint as demand for low-carbon fuels grows.

The deal includes six landfill gas-to-renewable natural gas sites in the US, five farm waste facilities in France, and a 51% stake in Redo Biosolutions, which operates production and distribution assets across Norway and Sweden.

According to the company, this acquisition positions the company as a leading producer of RNG globally, with its total capacity now over 5.5 million metric million British thermal units.

Mobius CEO Cynthia Walker said that focus will now shift towards optimizing operations and deploying capital into new projects, while highlighting the company's "unparalleled position" with the "right expertise, the right capital, and the right mindset to unlock value."
