MLG Oz (ASX:MLG) said its IMS Oz Ventures unit executed an agreement with Marlinyu Ghoorlie Enterprises (MGE) to establish a joint venture that will provide mining and civil services to clients operating in Marlinyu Ghoorlie indigenous land in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The parties will hold equal interests in the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Enterprises MLG Oz Joint Venture, with an equally represented board and MLG Oz acting as manager of the joint venture's operations, per the filing.
The joint venture is in a position to tender for and deliver work immediately. Several potential opportunities are being assessed for delivery, including some that are at an advanced stage, the company said.
MLG Oz shares gained 2% in recent Monday trade.
