Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (TYO:7011) subsidiary Mitsubishi Shipbuilding unveiled a 1,000-ton patrol ship for the Japan Coast Guard, according to a Tuesday release.
The shipbuilder will turn over the vessel, named Wakasa, to the the law enforcement agency in fiscal year 2027, pending installation work.
The ship has a total length of about 96 meters and full width of about 11.5 meters.
