Mitsubishi HC Capital (TYO:8593) logged a 45% year-over-year decline in attributable net income for the fiscal first quarter to 31.6 billion yen from 57.3 billion yen.
The leasing company's earnings per share were 21.99 yen, compared with 39.82 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Friday.
Revenue fell 7.8% to 539.1 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 584.5 billion yen a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable net income of 160 billion yen and EPS of 111.57 yen.
The company plans to pay interim and final dividends of 25 yen and 26 yen, respectively, totaling 51 yen per share, higher than the 46 yen annual dividend paid in the previous fiscal year.
