Mitsubishi Electric's Attributable Profit Rises 21% in Fiscal Q1

Mitsubishi Electric's (TYO:6503) profit attributable to stockholders rose 21% to 109.8 billion yen in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, from 90.9 billion yen a year ago.

The electronics company's earnings per share increased to 53.66 yen from 43.89 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse Friday filing.

Revenue grew 12% year on year to 1.497 trillion yen, from 1.313 trillion yen a year earlier.

For fiscal 2027, the company expects an attributable profit of 495.0 billion yen, basic EPS of 241.87 yen, and revenue of 6.270 trillion yen.

The company plans to pay an interim and a year-end dividend of 30 yen per share, each, for the current fiscal year.
