Minth Group (HKG:0425) broke ground on a new manufacturing campus in Gadsden, Alabama, marking the start of a project expected to attract $430 million in phased investment, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The automotive parts supplier said the facility will be built on a 400-acre site and is expected to create more than 1,300 jobs once fully operational.
The first phase of the project is scheduled to begin production in 2027.
Minth said the campus will strengthen its manufacturing footprint in the U.S. and support localized production for customers across its automotive parts business.
