Minieye Technology (HKG:2431) signed a cooperation agreement with DiDi Delivery to jointly commercialize and expand driverless logistics services, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The companies will combine DiDi Delivery's intracity freight platform with Minieye's L4 autonomous driving technology and mass-produced driverless logistics vehicles to accelerate the rollout of last-mile driverless delivery.
The partnership will initially provide integrated driverless delivery services to commercial customers in Foshan, with plans to expand to other cities over time.
Shares of the firm were down nearly 1% in Tuesday afternoon trade.
