Minerals 260 Drilling at Western Australia Gold Project Confirms Mineralization Continuity; Shares Rise 8%

Minerals 260 (ASX:MI6) said drilling at its Bullabulling gold project in Western Australia confirmed the continuity of mineralization within the mineral resource estimate of 6.2 million ounces, as well as extensions beyond the current resource boundaries, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Infill drilling results include eight meters at 3 grams per tonne grade of gold from 56 meters; five meters at 3 g/t from 234 meters; 12 meters at 1.1 g/t from 36 meters; 20 meters at 1.2 g/t from 36 meters; 11 meters at 1 g/t from 44 meters; and 19 meters at 1.5 g/t from 172 meters, among other intercepts.

The results support the upgrade of inferred resources to indicated, the company said.

It added that five drill rigs are on site, including two reverse circulation rigs, one diamond drilling rig, one aircore rig, and a water bore rig.

Minerals 260 shares rose 8% in recent Thursday trade.
