Metal Powder Works (ASX:MPW) accelerated its planned capacity expansion program, bringing forward its total installed capacity target of about 800 metric tonnes from calendar 2028 to the first half of calendar 2027, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the estimated total capital cost of the planned capacity is about $2 million, expected to be fully funded from existing cash reserves and spent across the second half of calendar 2026 and first half of calendar 2027, the filing added.
The company's shares gained about 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
