Mega Financial (TPE:2886) unit Mega Securities signed a syndicated loan facility of up to NT$6 billion, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares gained about 5% in Thursday's late afternoon trade.
The three-year facility will be arranged by Cathay United Bank as the mandated lead arranger, and may be increased or reduced by up to 30%.
The funds will be used to support the company's medium- to long-term working capital needs.
