Meeka Metals' (ASX:MEK) shares entered a trading halt, pending the earlier of either the release of an announcement regarding a capital raising or the commencement of trading on Friday, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Meeka is said to be seeking to raise AU$30 million at an offer price of AU$0.10 per share, the Australian Financial Review reported on the same day.
It plans to use the proceeds to pay for a AU$10 million deferred payment for tenements it acquired earlier in Western Australia, as well as to develop the New Turnberry project, per the report.
