Meeka Metals (ASX:MEK) identified high-grade gold mineralization during recent drilling at the Turnberry Ore Reserve of its Murchison Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 52.3 meters at 3 grams per tonne gold (g/t) from 474.1 meters, including 30.6 meters at 3.4 g/t gold and 10.5 meters at 3.7 g/t gold.
The results highlight the potential for significant extension and growth to the current Turnberry mineral resource of 690,000 ounces at 2 g/t gold, the filing added.
The company's shares fell nearly 8% in recent Wednesday trade and earlier hit their lowest since December 2024.
