MCC Logs 248 Billion Yuan in January-April New Contract Value

Metallurgical of China (SHA:601618, HKG:1618), or MCC's, newly signed contract value stood at 248 billion yuan for the four months ended April 30, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Of the total, the engineering construction firm's newly signed overseas contracts stood at around 14.2 billion yuan in the period.

In April alone, the firm signed three new engineering and construction contracts worth over 1 billion yuan.

India Glycols (NSE:INDIAGLYCO, BOM:500201) recorded a rise in its consolidated attributable net profit to 868.8 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, against 632.6 million rupees a year ago.Earnings per share grew to 13.64 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 10.34 rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the chemicals manufacturer.Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 23.6 billion rupees from 21.9 billion rupees a year earlier.Shares of the company fell over 6% in recent trade.

OxPay Financial's (SGX:TVV) attributable loss to owners widened by 34% during the first quarter of the year to SG$920,000 from SG$685,000 a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Loss per share came in at SG$0.0030 compared with SG$0.0025 in the year-ago period.Revenue surged 175% year over year to SG$2.4 million from SG$880,000.
