Maruti Suzuki India (NSE:MARUTI, BOM:532500) will increase prices of selected models by up to 20,000 Indian rupees, effective this month, citing higher input costs.
The company said it has taken cost-reduction measures to offset the increase but will pass on part of the higher costs to customers, according to a Monday filing on Indian bourses.
Shares of the company rose nearly 1% in recent trade.
