Maronan Metals Intersects Copper-Gold Mineralization North of Queensland Resource

Maronan Metals (ASX:MMA) intersected shallow copper-gold mineralization north of the 2025 indicated copper-gold resource at the Maronan project in Queensland, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling returned 8.9 meters at over 1% copper and 0.61 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 297 meters and 20 meters at 0.83% copper, 0.42 g/t grade of gold from 257 meters, including 4.5 meters at 1.5% copper, 0.68 g/t grade of gold from 268 meters, the filing said.

Further drilling is planned to convert the inferred mineral resource to indicated, supporting a pre-feasibility study, per the filing.
