Marmota (ASX:MEU) said it plans to expand the stage three drilling program at the Greenewood gold discovery in South Australia to around 31,000 meters, with the drill holes expanded to 320 meters, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Greenewood is part of the Golden Moon joint venture, in which Marmota has 90% ownership via its unit Half Moon.
The firm completed 26,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling at the discovery.

Viva Goods (HKG:0933) has purchased 29.6 million shares of Chinese sportswear giant Li Ning (HKG:2331) for HK$398.4 million as an investment, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.The company said it bought the shares through open market transactions at an average price of HK$13.45 apiece.Following the transaction, Viva's stakeholding in Li Ning rose to 16.9%, with ownership of 437.2 million shares.
