Yulon Motor (TPE:2201) expects second-half growth to be driven by deliveries of the Foxtron CAVIRA electric vehicle and exports of a Mitsubishi model to Australia and New Zealand, Taiwan News reported Wednesday, citing an investor conference.
Yulon Motor General Manager Hsu Kuo-hsing said the company's Sanyi plant in Miaoli will manufacture the Mitsubishi ASX VR-e EV, with launches in Australia and New Zealand planned for the fourth quarter. Hsu said orders for Foxtron electric vehicles have exceeded expectations, supporting higher production volumes than last year, although output will depend on demand, according to the report.
Beyond vehicle manufacturing, Yulon Motor plans to expand its energy business, revitalize assets and pursue overseas opportunities during the second half. Meanwhile, the company's Yes! Life mall in Xindian, New Taipei, is expected to generate an 8% higher annual turnover of NT$5.9 billion in 2026, the report said.
