Walt Disney Company (DIS) has begun selling Super Bowl LXI commercial time at $8 million for a 30-second spot, Variety reported Wednesday, citing two people familiar with recent negotiations.
The rate fell from Disney's initial asking price of up to $10 million after objections from advertisers, the report said, citing three media buyers familiar with the matter.
Disney said it has seen strong early demand with AI, finance and pharma leading spending, according to the report. Super Bowl LXI is scheduled for Feb. 14 and will air on both ABC and ESPN.
Disney did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
