U.S. biotech firm Axiom Biosciences is planning a Hong Kong initial public offering in 2027, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing CEO Remo Moomiaie-Qajar.
The IPO proceeds will fund clinical trials of Axiom's stem cell therapy for neurological disorders and future clinical development in China. The company is also targeting a secondary U.S. listing at a later stage, Bloomberg reported.
Backed by Asian institutional investors, Axiom is co-developing its lead drug with a South Korean partner and is in talks with several Chinese companies on potential collaborations, the report said.
Axiom Biosciences did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
