Indian online trading platform Upstox is in preliminary talks with investment banks over a potential initial public offering that could raise about $400 million, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The Tiger Global-backed brokerage has held early discussions with bankers and is expected to appoint advisers, according to the report.
The potential offering could include both new shares and stock sold by existing investors. The discussions remain in the early stages, with the size and timing of the IPO subject to change, the report said.
Upstox did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
