Thai Beverage (SGX:Y92) is contemplating the sale of its KFC restaurant franchise business in Thailand, according to a Bloomberg report on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The company is working with Bank of America to attract interest, the report added, with deliberations ongoing with no guarantee of a deal.
The Singapore-listed beverage producer's unit, QSR, operates more than 500 restaurants across Thailand, the report said.
The company had acquired 240 KFC outlets in 2017 for around 11.4 billion baht, the report noted.
Thai Beverage did not immediately respond to an' request for comment.
