Tesla (TSLA) is preparing to launch the Cybercab, its first model designed without a steering wheel or brake pedal, as soon as this month, The Information reported Monday, citing people with knowledge of the plans.

The vehicle is being developed for the carmaker's autonomous ride-hailing service, Robotaxi, and the company is planning to start with a public rollout in Austin, Texas.

Tesla did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
