Market Chatter: Tencent's WeChat Pilots AI Agent in China

Tencent (HKG:0700) is piloting its new artificial intelligence agent for its WeChat messaging app in China, Bloomberg reported Monday.

Xiaowei, the new AI agent, will be able to book food deliveries and rides, among other services, and uses the WeLM large language model, the report said.

Tencent did not immediately respond to requests for comment from.

South Korean software company Innoax (KOSDAQ:296640) secured a contract from Samsung SDS (KRX:018260) to enhance the Samsung Life Insurance front-core system, according to a Monday filing with the Korean Exchange.The contract, valued at 3.48 billion won, is valid till Dec. 21, 2027.Shares of Innoax fell nearly 1% in recent trade.
