The US Supreme Court has rejected Verizon Communications' (VZ) bid to recover the $47 million it paid following accusations of privacy violations by the Federal Communications Commission, Bloomberg reported Monday.
Verizon was seeking to amend a June 4 court decision to allow it to seek reimbursement, claiming it paid after being misled by the FCC's characterization of the forfeiture order, according to the report.
Verizon Communications did not immediately respond to' request for a comment.
