Days after signing a memorandum of understanding with Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan, the South Korean customs agency agreed to expand cooperation on customs affairs and protection of intellectual property rights, Yonhap News reported Thursday, citing the Korean agency.

The agency signed the framework deal with the three nations earlier this week to plug the trade in counterfeit Korean products.

Under the deal the three countries will share information on counterfeit products and conduct joint enforcement operations with the South Korean agency.
