SoftBank Group (TYO:9984) shares fell 12%, crashing to a one-month low, over reports that the US-based artificial intelligence company OpenAI is planning to delay its initial public offering until next year, Nikkei Asia reported Friday.
The Japan-based investor planned a $65 billion investment in the AI company, which initially, according to media reports in May, planned a market offering as early as September.
