SK Hynix (KRX:000660) has approved a preliminary wage agreement proposal to pay 60% of the current year's employee bonuses in shares and the remaining 40% in cash, Reuters reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The proposal, currently under discussion with union delegates, is a shift from the earlier bonus payment plan, which proposed payments of more than half of the bonuses in stock.
SK Hynix did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
