Semight Instruments (SHA:688808) is considering a second listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange after its stock price skyrocketed at its debut, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing sources.
The Chinese semiconductor test instrument maker's shares surged about 2,200% since its 2.1 billion yuan initial public offering in April, the report said.
Sources told the media outlet that the company is in discussion with prospective advisers for the potential listing plan, but the proposal is still in preliminary stage.
Semight did not immediately respond to' request for comment on the matter.
The company's shares rose 3% at the close.
