Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (SASE:2222), d/b/a Saudi Aramco, has informally assured certain Asian fuel processors that they would soon be able to pick up their deliveries from the Red Sea's Yanbu port.
Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing unnamed traders with knowledge of the matter, that the oil major's executives informed at least three refiners about the expected loadings, without giving any official notices or timelines.
Shipments from Yanbu were halted after the East-West pipeline was attacked by drones on Sept. 10.
Aramco did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
