Austrian firm AT&S is preparing to invest up to 2 billion euros in Malaysia as demand tied to artificial intelligence infrastructure soars globally, Reuters reported Monday.
The Austrian circuit board maker is focused on expanding its operations in Kulim, Malaysia, according to the report.
Chief executive Michael Mertin said the build-out is being fully underpinned by long-term commitments from key customers, supporting both new and expanded production lines, the news agency said.
