Reliance Jio Infocomm, the telecom unit of Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries (NSE:RELIANCE, BOM:500325), is said to be filing draft papers for its expected $4 billion initial public offering (IPO) soon, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
The announcement might be made before Reliance Industries' chairman Mukesh Ambani's annual speech to shareholders on Friday.
Reliance Jio did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
As per the news report, in August last year, Reliance Group head Mukesh Ambani told shareholders that the telecom company's IPO would come in the first half of 2026.
