Market Chatter: Petronas Aims to Sustain Output at 2 Million Barrels Per Day Through 2028

Malaysia's state-owned energy company Petroliam Nasional (Petronas) aims to maintain its domestic oil and gas production at 2 million barrels of oil equivalent per day through 2028, Bernama reported Wednesday, citing Petronas President and Group CEO Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Aziz.

To achieve this, Petronas will beef up investments across exploration and deep-water development, and enhance its recovery from company-owned producing fields, the report said.
