Paramount Skydance's (PSKY) $111 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is set to receive the approval of the European Commission, provided the media company accepts certain remedies, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing two people involved in the discussions.
The precise remedies are still being discussed between the companies and antitrust enforcers, and they could include a requirement for Paramount to exit a joint venture with Comcast's (CMCSA) Universal Pictures, the report said.
