Nvidia's (NVDA) gaming chip was banned by Beijing while Chief Executive Jensen Huang was visiting China as part of the business delegation with President Donald Trump last week, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing a document and people with knowledge of the matter.
The chip was added to a list of banned goods at China's customs checkpoints last Friday, highlighting Beijing's stance to block Nvidia chips, particularly the degraded versions designed to comply with US export controls, according to the report.
Nvidia did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
