Nvidia plans to invest around $150 billion annually in Taiwan, calling the island-nation the "epicenter" of the AI revolution, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.

Huang made the comments at a launch event for Nvidia's planned Taiwan headquarters in Taipei. The new headquarters, expected to break ground this year and begin operations by 2030, will employ around 4,000 people, according to the report.

Huang also said Taiwan would remain a global technology manufacturing hub for years to come as demand for AI computing continues to grow, the newswire reported.
