Moonshot AI raised $3.5 billion, higher than its target of up to $2 billion, after closing a financial round that put the Chinese startup at a valuation of $35 billion, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The startup is now reaching out to investors for another funding round at around $50 billion before going public in Hong Kong, the news outlet said.

Moonshot did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
