Moonshot AI has started its latest fundraising round and expects to complete it by the end of August, the South China Morning Post reported Wednesday, citing two people familiar with the matter.
The Chinese artificial intelligence startup is seeking a valuation of up to $50 billion in the financing round, which is expected to be its last before the planned IPO, according to the report.
The company is also dismantling its offshore corporate structure to pave the way for a potential Hong Kong initial public offering as early as the end of the year, it added.
Moonshot did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
