Microsoft (MSFT) division Xbox's subsidiary Obsidian Entertainment has canceled multiple projects and will start working on a new game in the Fallout franchise as part of a broader restructuring, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Obsidian also laid off about one-fourth of its workforce, according to the report.
