Microsoft (MSFT) is combining the consumer and enterprise versions of its Copilot AI chatbots into a single application in an effort to better compete with Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT, The Information reported Thursday, citing a company memo it viewed.
The new unified app will include AI coding tools and new AI agents that users would need to pay extra for, the report said, citing the memo.
Microsoft didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from.
