Meta Platforms (META) has appointed Chief Marketing Officer Alex Schultz as its new chief data officer, Axios reported Wednesday, citing Schultz.
Vice President of Consumer Marketing and Growth Denise Moreno will succeed Schultz as chief marketing officer, the report said.
As chief data officer, Schultz will lead the company's global AI analytics efforts while continuing to oversee its infrastructure analytics teams, according to the news outlet.
Meta Platforms did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
